About Us
Our Purpose
Liberty Baptist Church of Charlotte, N. C. has been a pillar and ground in the Charlotte area since 1977.
Liberty Baptist Church is still a "traditional" Independent Fundamental Baptist Church.
We still sing from the church hymnals, have graded Sunday school classes, and personal soul winning is preached as well as practiced.
Our Position
We Believe:
- The Kings James Bible is the inspired, innerant, preserved Word of God.
- The creation of man by the direct act of God
- The incarnate and virgin birth of Jesus Christ
- The substitutionary death on the cross for all mankind
- Bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
- New Birth through the regeneration by the Holy Spirit
- Gift of Eternal Life by Grace through faith in the finished work at Calvary. Not by works of righteousness which we have done...but according to His mercy He saves us.
- Eternal Security of the Believer
- Pre-Tribulation Rapture
- Second coming of Our Lord Jesus
